[Women's Cross Country] Rouse's Season Setter and Three Others Score Career Times

Parkside, WI - Illinois Tech Cross Country placed 16th at the 27th Lucian Rosa Invitational hosted by University of Wisconsin-Parkside. 28 teams from all NCAA divisions, the NAIA and Community College level lined up for this meet, representing seven states, including Canada.

Courtney Rouse led the Scarlet Hawks by scoring 65 points, with a season best time of 19:18. Anne Crotteau and Sara Glade were just over the 100th scoring spot, finishing in 103rd and 111th. The next three runners that crossed the finish line for IIT, April Wanagas, Greta Zola, and Ellen Ween recorded career best times over the 5 km race.

Northwestern University's top 5 scoring runners finished in the top 20 and won the event with 57 points.

Illinois Tech will return to action at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Brooks Invite on October 19.
